Complete Streets Can Help Build an AARP “Age-friendly, livable community!”

Big Bikeatoga thanks to Saratoga Hospital CEO Jill VanKuren, Saratoga Regional YMCA CEO Scott Clark, AARP NY Associate State Director Robyn Haberman and transportation planner Michael King for their informative presentations at our March 27th community forum on “Physical Activity & Successful Aging in Saratoga Springs.” You made us all want to go get a checkup, stop by the Y and get outside walking and riding our bikes!

Our thanks to Mayor Safford and everyone else in the community who took time to attend. These conversations about the kind of city we want to live in are key to creating what AARP calls an “Age-Friendly, livable community.”

Bikeatoga in the news!

In case you missed it, our community forum on bike lanes and Successful Aging was featured on WAMC’s Midday Magazine.  You can hear (or read) the story here, on WAMC's website.
