Bikes + Parts

Adult and kids bikes and parts in working condition are welcomed for drop off directly to the Workshop during open hours after prior contact via text at 518-290-0746 or email at info@bikeatoga.org to be sure the bike is one we can use. Currently we are overstocked on bikes with wheels of 20” or less. If the bike is severely rusty or in need of repair, we cannot use it and encourage you to recycle it at Planit Waste Recycling Salvage in Ballston Spa. For further questions, please email info@bikeatoga.org with a picture and details of your donation or send us a text at 518-290-0746.

We have partnered with DPW to collect bikes at their location as well at the Saratoga Springs Transfer Station. These bikes are left in the elements until one of our volunteers can make a pickup, so please bring donations to our workshop, if possible.

Time and Talent

Thanks To Our Donors in 2023-2024

We welcome volunteers of any skill level to work on bicycles alongside our volunteer mechanics and to help us out at our front door (greeting visitors, helping with adoption paperwork) - we ask that you please sign up here before coming to volunteer as a mechanic, in reception, or otherwise in our workshop. Email info@bikeatoga.org to inquire about more volunteering opportunities. Volunteers are an essential part of Bikeatoga and are always needed. People are needed during open workshop hours to:

  • Organize and clean the workshop

  • Repair and restore bikes

  • Manage the check-in station for all visitors

We also seek support on grant-writing, event organization and staffing, advocacy, fundraising, and more with our Committees. Please email us to get plugged into these initiatives.

Does your school require community service hours?  Would you like to bring a group of volunteers to Bikeatoga? Please send us an email or send us a text at 518-290-0746, and we are happy to coordinate with you.
